My work takes many forms; drawings, paintings, web pages, photographs, video, written words, but are often achromatic. It explores and defines two sides of myself, which I describe as man and male. Although there are noticeable crossovers in these two areas, the work can still be separated, thus displaying the struggle within; of man and male.

The human (man) side of me looks at my emotions for inspiration and creates work about the human condition, mainly exploring male/female relationships and emotions from my point of view (as a man/male). This work provides a means of voicing feelings and gives something people can learn from or relate to and take something away from, be it comfort or anger.

This work was the first in a series of installations expressing feelings after a relationship break-up. This installation was viewed in a gallery environment; others were in more intimate yet public places.

The masculine (male) side strives to create the perfect aesthetic experience though what I feel are masculine processes, techniques and materials, with less emphasis on 'meaning'.
